Mason Victoria's SONUSKAPOS Jazz Orchestra (SSJO)
Megan plays lead trumpet with the SSJO who released their 7-track debut album in 2017 (streaming to the left). Megan has also written a couple of compositions for the band to play entitled "How to Rescue a Princess" and "To Return Home".
SSJO is a 18 piece big band led by Mason Victoria. Comprising of many jazz musicians currently attending school for music, SSJO aims to give the opportunity for band members to write and play amongst peers in a large ensemble setting. Striving for unique collaboration, the big band plays many different styles of big band music from class swing era to borderline experimental.
