Megan Jutting is a lead trumpet player based in Hamilton/Toronto. After completing a B.Mus. from Humber College, she has been active in the large ensemble and Latin scenes.
Most recently, she has been playing with groups such as Charles y sus Estrellas, the Toronto Jazz Orchestra, the Dan Bodanis Big Band, the Dennis Kwok Jazz Orchestra, and the After Hours Jazz Band (HASJB organization).
She has also played in musical theater performances with the Burlington Student Theater (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, 2023 and Crazy for You, 2024) and Theater Ancaster (Cabaret, 2023).
Other playing highlights include playing with the Sonuskapos Jazz Orchestra (Mason Victoria), Socialist Night School (Chelsea McBride), Octorock, Chris Hunt 10tet and Yani Borrell.
